My entry for one of the past Character of The Week challenge, over at ConceptArt. I didn't finish it in time, but at least I'm happy with the result now The topic was "Andromeda" And guess I should explain the image:

Andromeda was the daugther of Casio and Casiopea. Her mother once presumed of being prettier than the nereids - and that enraged the water god Poseidon, who sent the monster Ceto to destroy their village.

And here is where the story gets complicated: some versions say that the Amon oracle predicted that the only way to send Ceto away was to marry him with the beautiful Andromeda... Other sources simply say that their parents offered her as a sacrifice to calm down the monster. I liked the first version better, obviously

_{...And considering what humans have done to Andromeda, she looks like is thinking seriously about that wedding ring XDDD}

Oh btw, in the end, Perseus comes and saves her from the monster in the las minute. Poor Ceto ;_____;
